 I'm lost. Entirely lost. I've somehow managed to walk in a circle. I left the restaurant and somehow got turned around on my usual route and am back and the restaurant. Will New York ever seem small?

 nope. it's a big scary place that will never stop amazing me. you should stop texting me at work though. tsk. luckily for you the children are with their grandparents. seeing the nut-cracker, jealous much. that and i have done all the house work and am now waiting for my cake to cool.

not nothing. i'm watching the original miracle on 24th street. I do adore it so. I also just cut sweets to make santa hats out of for said cake. aww, if my boss wouldn't be really upset, i'd suggest you go east and come get at least one of those. but you should go the three blocks south-east home. i'll pick you up some cake on my way home?

i finish work at seven. then i was actually thinking i may come home and start a fruit cake since the fruit needs to be soaked. but that sounds like you may have your own ideas about that?
