ABILITIES LISTING
No code for you to fill out here or anything, don't worry! We just like to keep this updated with abilities so that we make sure we don't get piled up on one thing--diversity is fun times, huh? Please check here before making a new character to be sure that his ability isn't already present--we'd prefer NO overlap in abilities but some overlap is negotiable, after all, some characters really are alike. Any currently restricted abilities will be listed here as well. Contact staff with any questions.
RESTRICTED ABILITIES
None at the moment! Check back later!
CURRENT ABILITIES
Addictive
Jamie Brian Harlow played by Dani
Just a look at him and you’ll find yourself wanting to get to know him, find out what he’s like, and, in some cases, desire him. It’s like a drug, the first taste just makes you a little curious for more, but the more you’re around him the more you need to know him and be around him even more. He has absolutely no control over it. And if you can figure out what’s going on, and if you really want to, then you can think your way out of being addicted to him. As well, when people are around him purely for the sake of being addicted to him, it takes a physical toll on him, although if you genuinely want to be around him, it doesn't affect him.
Compulsion
Brody Lucius Daemon played by Dani
Brody's voice compels others to do as he wishes. It’s even worse when he’s singing, the ability somehow turned up, to the point that he could make someone do something if he really wanted them to—since he isn’t aware of the ability, though, people just usually feel a compulsion to make him happy. Brody’s voice can randomly ‘backfire’. At times, instead of making people want to make him as happy as possible, it can press all the wrong buttons and fire off even the calmest tempers.
Element Manipulation -- Fire
Reggie James played by Rae
Right now, he is able to spit little tiny balls of fire from his mouth to, for example, light a candle. If he concentrates extremely hard Moosh can make a small (already lit) fire within a few feet of him burn a bit more or a bit less. Whenever he uses this he gets a horrid cough and his mouth tastes like charcoal, and if he attempts to manipulate fire outside himself he is left completely exhausted for at least fifteen minutes.
Enhanced Physical Ability -- Jumping and Flexibility
Tyler Russell Tiggs played by Vani
He may get one to two feet off the ground with each step. Tyler is also capable of bouncing high, as high as thirty feet. Tyler can twist himself in ways that would be extremely difficult for someone unless they were double jointed. Adrenaline and energy play a key role in what Tyler does and how much of it he can do. Tyler's heart rate and adrenaline level have to be at a certain point before he can perform any of his larger bounces. Depending on how high he wishes to go, his heart has to be pumping so fast that it would be lethal to any normal human being.
Hypnotism
Ahmed Jamil Jafar played by Rae
With the help of a sapphire ring, he has the ability to hypnotize others into doing what he wants from them. The more Ahmed uses the ring on one particular person, they are much faster to fall into the hypnosis, they longer stay hypnotized much longer. But, hypnosis only lasts for a certain period of time. When the ring is not in the presence of that person, the time is significantly shorter. There are certain people on whom the ring does not work at all. The ring can only hypnotize a single person at one time. If someone else discovers that Ahmed is hypnotizing someone, tells the culprit and convinces them of the truth, the hypnosis is broken and can no longer be performed on anyone who was involved.
Invisibility
David Chester-Felix played by Rose
He can make all our part of himself and a limited amount of what is in contact with his skin invisible for a set amount of time, the more that is made invisible, the less time he can hold it.
Luck
Jeremiah Dodger Clarke played by Lex
Jeremiah is incredibly lucky, all of the time. Situations appear around him that appear like they shouldn't occur as they do, but they absolutely happen, and they always turn out just... right for Jeremiah. He actually saps the luck from others' lives into his own, and stores it for times when he needs it, causing those he hangs out with to have rather bad luck even for a little bit after they encounter him. Those he touches are inclined to longer bouts of bad luck afterwards. Jeremiah doesn't actually know he has the power, nor that he's taking his luck from those he associates with. Also, in order for life-saving luck to occur, he needs to use large reserves of his luck. He can actually be drained of his luck, and is completely normal until he can hang out with others once more and sap from their luck.
Post Cognition
Basil Morris Baker played by Rose
Basil can, by looking someone in the eye, tell what places they have been for the past few hours and might vaguely be able to see what they have been doing there. How much he sees depends on how well he knows the person. The maximum time he can see into the past is five hours, and once again the less he knows a person the more brief of a snapshot he will get. His ability is not infallible, nor does he have any control over it. The information can also be dizzying, depending on how much the person has done recently and how far he or she has travelled.
