Midtown Manhattan—or simply Midtown—is an area of Manhattan, New York City, home to world-famous commercial zones such as Rockefeller Center, Broadway, and Times Square.

You'd think a place with the name 'park' in it would be relaxing, but you'd think wrong. Central Park sees thousands of visitors every day, and they're anything but peaceful, and some can be quite dangerous if you manage to piss one off.

Well you'd certainly better have a tidy sum of cash in your pocket if you're walking down this street, because nothing here comes on the cheap. It's often been labeled the Most Expensive Street in the World, although that changes now and again with currency, but you can bet that your little five dollar bill won't get you shit, and that's a new york promise.

Broadway, as the name implies, is a wide avenue in New York City, which runs the full length of Manhattan and continues into the Bronx.

The artistic centre of the city. soho has become known for it's slight rejection of 'mainstream' art. It's also known for its shopping and downtown scene.

This is the place that all those Chinese immigrants flocked to when they came here, and it certainly hasn't gotten smaller since. Here, you barter for whatever it is you want to buy, and you make a giant fool of yourself if you pay the asking price for a purse or t-shirt. Realistic knockoffs of anything you could possibly want are available for you here - just don't follow that creepy man into his van to 'look at his merchandise'.

Little Italy is a group of neighborhoods bordering Chinatown. Like its Chinese counterpart, this section of Manhattan is rich with tradition that was carried over by Italian immigrants at the turn of the century. Although it's not nearly as large as Chinatown, it is a very closely knit community. The locals here take pride in their Italian roots, which can be seen in every stand, restaurant, and store that lines these streets. Many haven't been changed since the 1900's. So, don't expect to find a Pizza Hut or Olive Garden anywhere.

Columbia University in the City of New York (commonly known as Columbia University, or simply Columbia) is a private university in the United States and a member of the Ivy League.

Located on Broadway, Lincoln Center is a large plaza consisting several building and companies related to the performing arts. Bigs names like Juilliard, the Metropolitan Opera, and the New York Philharmonic call this home.

The northernmost and newest borough of New York and it is also the most impoverished of all the boroughs. However, it does have it's charms that are worth checking out.

While midtown is the center of the commercial district, it is still home to many. After all, who doesn't want to be in the center of everything? Neighbourhoods include Chelsea. It's home to Madison Square.

Lower Manhattan is home to an odd assortment of neighborhoods such as, The Village, SoHo, TriBeCa, China Town and Little Italy.

Williamsburg is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bordering Greenpoint, Bedford-Stuyvesant, and Bushwick.
